| Making procedures | All-ceramic denturesThe most up to date prosthetic treatment of our time. Zirconium Oxide stabilized by “Y-TZP” Yttrium (Yttria-stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystals) is a material with excellent mechanical properties. It’s light colored and translucent. Zirconium Oxide’s flexular strength is around 1 800 MPa. It’s long-term performance and clinical results are excellent. Constructions are extremely precise, its structure is compact and without porosity. These constructions are made by the “Microdent”” milling center for us, using the highest quality zircon blocks of the Swiss Metoxit company. Zirconium Oxide’s translucency also enables more deferential teeth grinding at the dental clinic. It is not necessary to grind teeth more to have space for at least partial covering of the metal construction for natural appearance of the ceramic crown. 1. After cavity preparation your dentist will take the dental impression, choose the tooth color or will send you to the lab for color selection. 2. We make a sectional working pattern in the lab, which is then transferred to the computer using a 3D scanner. 3. The future construction appearance is then made on the computer and the data file is sent to the milling center. 4. A computer-driven milling machine then cuts the denture construction, increased by 23%, from a pre-sintered block of ceramics. 5. The construction is soaked in a coloring solution according to the color shade chosen in the clinic or in the laboratory. 7. The finished Zircon Oxide construction is sent to the dental laboratory, where it is faceted by Cercom Keram Kiss ceramics. 8. The completed all-ceramic denture is sent back to the clinic, where, if the patient is satisfied, is cemented. The usual period from grinding in the clinic to the delivery of the completed denture for simpler works is 5-7 working days. Larger and more complicated bridges require the patient to come for a construction check after 4-5 days and the work is completed in another 3-4 days. |
